Web Desk: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has taken a woman into custody after she was deported from Saudi Arabia due to involvement in activities deemed inappropriate under local laws.
Officials at FIA Immigration Karachi reported that the woman, a resident of Bahawalpur, was detained upon arrival at Jinnah International Airport. During the immigration clearance, authorities observed suspicious behavior, prompting a detailed investigation.
The woman admitted that she had been assisted by a Faisalabad-based agent, Tayyab Ali, son of Mirajud Din, for her travel abroad. She further revealed that upon reaching Saudi Arabia, she was reportedly handed over to an organized human trafficking network.
The FIA is continuing its investigation into the case and working to identify individuals involved in facilitating illegal travel and trafficking. Authorities have urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid unverified agents when planning overseas travel.
