Web Desk: Jet fuel prices in Pakistan have surged to a record high, putting pressure on airlines and passengers alike. The latest hike is expected to further increase airfares in the coming days.
The price of jet fuel has increased by Rs83 per litre, taking it to an unprecedented Rs471 per litre. This marks the latest surge in aviation fuel costs, making it one of the highest levels recorded in the country.
Jet fuel prices have climbed significantly over the past few weeks. Since March 1, the price has increased by Rs283 per litre, when it stood at Rs188 per litre.
