Web Desk: Actress and TV host Mishi Khan has publicly responded to claims made by actress Dr. Nabiha regarding alleged abuse by her husband and in-laws, calling the statements “irrational” and advising that such matters should be handled privately.
Dr. Nabiha had appeared on a program hosted by Fiza Ali, where she spoke about difficulties in her marriage, including mental distress caused by her in-laws.
Mishi Khan addressed the controversy on Instagram, describing the televised revelations as “crazy” and labeling the show’s content as unnecessary. In a video message, she stated:
“What kind of trend is this? The holy month of Ramadan has just begun, and personal household matters are being broadcast on television as if something extremely serious has happened.”
She urged Dr. Nabiha to handle domestic issues privately, noting that airing such matters publicly creates unnecessary complications. Mishi Khan also called on TV hosts to exercise caution, emphasizing that discussing sensitive family issues on public platforms during Ramadan is inappropriate.
