Web Desk: Gold prices in Pakistan increased sharply on Tuesday, following a surge in international rates amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the per tola gold rate rose by Rs3,400, reaching Rs539,962. The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs2,915, taking the new rate to Rs462,930.
On the global stage, gold also showed an upward trend, with the per ounce price climbing by $34 to $5,172.
Silver prices in Pakistan mirrored this movement, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs192, settling at Rs9,286.
Investors and buyers are advised to stay updated with market fluctuations as geopolitical developments continue to influence precious metal rates.
